50031 Hood, 50044 Exeter and 50049 Defiance attended the October 2011 diesel gala at the Severn Valley Railway.
50044 and 50049 had both recently undergone bodywork repairs resulting in their complete repaint. This was the first outing of 50049 since the application of a variation of its previous livery, now with a black roof. 50044 was now changed back to its original British Rail corporate blue livery. The locomotives provided turns from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth and Kidderminster to Bewdley.
